Cancellation Policy, Procedures and Disclaimers
Please read the following policy carefully prior to booking your trip. This cancellation policy refers to any deposits or monies collected through the website www.Excursions of Key West.com. Several Excursions may have additional specific information pertaining to cancellation, procedures, or disclaimers. ***(Please see "Additional Information" in the details of each excursion).
TYPES OF CANCELLATION
Prior to 7 days of Excursion:
If you cancel prior to 7 days of your excursion, you will receive a full refund unless there are specific restrictions for that particular excursion.
Within 7 days of Excursion:
If you cancel within 7 days of your excursion, you will forfeit your deposit.
Within 5 days of Excursion:
If you cancel within 5 days of your excursion, you will be charged for the remaining balance of the excursion you booked from the excursion company as well forfeit your deposit.
Due to the nature of this type of excursion, all cancellations within 14 days will be charged the full amount and no refunds will be given for the deposit or the remaining balance.
If the excursion is cancelled due to bad weather and the excursion has not been rescheduled, a full refund will be issued. The excursion company determines if the trip is cancelled due to bad weather, not the customer.
Excursion Company Cancels:
If the excursion company cancels the excursion and is not able to reschedule your excursion for another time, or on another date, you will be issued a full refund.
Cruise Ship Itinerary Changes:
If you miss your excursion because the cruise ship you are on changed its itinerary, you will be issued a full refund. (Proof of change from the cruise line will be required).
Air Line Itinerary Changes:
If you miss your excursion because the air line you are on changed its schedule, or is delayed, you will be issued a full refund. (Proof of change from air line will be required).
In the Event of Illness:
If you are ill or become sick during your excursion, you are not entitled to a refund. Any refunds that are issued are given on a case by case basis.
No Shows or Late Arrival:
If you do not show up for the scheduled excursion or are late to the departing location and the excursion has already left, you are responsible for the full amount of the excursion and no refund will be issued.
In all cases of cancellation, we will confirm the cancellation
with appropriate parties prior to issuing a refund.
PROCEDURES FOR CANCELLATION
How to Cancel:
Please contact us directly at 1-888-960-0649 for all cancellations. Cancellations made by email will not be honored as some email addresses will be blocked by our spam filters.
If you call and reach our voice mail, please speak slowly and clearly. Leave your name, phone number, confirmation number, and time of call. We will return your call as soon as possible. Your refund will be determined by the time of your call.
Changes In Reservation:
Any changes in your reservation must be made through our office at 1-813-321-9702. Changes would include: number of people in your party time of excursion, date changes, etc. All changes will be issued a new confirmation number via email. Changes in your reservation do not exempt you from any of the cancellation policies or procedures.
Credit Card/Bank Authorization:
Excursions of Key West is a division of Clear City and a third party vendor for all listed excursions.
By making a reservation online at Excursions of Key West.com, or via the telephone, you hereby agree to authorize Clear City and/or the excursion company to charge your credit card/bank debit card for the amount agreed upon for all items related to your excursion(s). This authorization is a verbal and electronic agreement and is in lieu of an "in person" signed receipt.
This authorization also agrees to allow Excursions of Key West and/or Clear City to provide the excursion company that is providing the services you are paying for, with your personal information i.e., credit/debit card number, name, address, phone numbers, etc. for the purpose of payment for the remaining balance on each excursion or for any additional services that may be applicable. (Your personal information will not be shared with any party not involved in the transaction).
Fees, Disputes, & Charge Backs:
For all refunds (with the exception of "Prior to 7 days of excursion"), there is a non-refundable fee of 5% of the amount booked.
If there is a dispute regarding a deposit or any other fee, you agree to contact our offices prior to directly contacting your bank to work toward a solution. If you fail to contact us to work toward a solution prior to initiating a "Charge Back" from your bank, you authorize Clear City to charge a 10% Administration Fee of the initial amount charged to your credit card/bank debit card.
Credit Card/Bank Statements:
In most cases, the customer will pay us a deposit and the remaining balance will be paid at the time of the excursion, directly to the excursion company. Therefore, you will see (2) charges on your credit card or bank statement. (1) for the deposit and (1) for the balance. (All deposits will be charged under the name of Clear City).
DISCLAIMERS & NOTES
All pricing on Excursions of Key West.com is deemed to be accurate and current. However, pricing for the cost of excursions are subject to change at any time without any prior notice.
Excursions of Key West is a division of Clear City and a third party vendor for all listed excursions. All excursions and/or excursion companies ARE NOT owned and operated by Excursions of Key West and/or Clear City and are in fact "independent companies." Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES will Excursions of Key West and/or Clear City be liable for any accidents, incidents, or harm caused by any of these "independent companies."
When making reservations, please be aware of any time differences between the location where you book the trip to the location of Key West, Florida. Key West is located in the Eastern Standard Time zone (EST). Excursions of Key West and/or Clear City is not responsible for any errors or incorrect bookings due to time differences.
Please take into consideration, the time delay it may take for transportation from your location (cruise ship or hotel) to the departing location of the excursion. Excursions of Key West and/or Clear City is not responsible for the calculation of travel and/or transportation times to or from your excursions.
Excursions of Key West and/or Clear City is not responsible for any loss of monies due to exchange rates or any type of local taxes and fees.
Waivers & Insurance:
Most "independent companies" that offer excursions sold on the Excursions of Key West.com website will have some type of waiver that will need to be signed prior to you participating in the excursion.
All of the "independent companies" should have insurance for the specific activity that is offered to the customer. While Excursions of Key West and/or Clear City does its best to make sure that each company has insurance, Excursions of Key West and/or Clear City is not responsible for making sure that each "independent company's" insurance policy is current or has adequate coverage for the excursion they offer. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to validate the insurance and/or its parameters of each "independent company" they utilize for their excursion purposes.
All personal items and valuables should remain under your control at all times. It is advisable to bring only the necessary items needed for each excursion. Under NO circumstances will Excursions of Key West and/or Clear City be liable for any loss, theft, or damage of personal items while you are participating in an excursion.
